I recently upgraded from the Versa to the Sense 2 and have fully completed the setup process. However the reminders to move are not working. I have gone through a fair bit of trouble shooting already including:
Removing the device and setting it back up
Restarting the device and my phone
Checking the notifications are enabled (they are)
checking that do not disturb or quite modes are not switched on
Turning the notifications off, syncing to app, switching them back on and then syncing again
None of these things have worked and I’m at a loss as to how to get this working! Does this sound like a faulty device? The notifications on my Versa worked fine so don’t think it can be a phone issue.

From phone app Today screen:

Hi, I have tried this already and it shows as switched on there. But under the account settings but for the Sense 2 is keeps flicking to a “disabled” status. It’s like it’s on but something is stopping it from working.

Exactly what is flicking to "disabled" status"? And how do you mean "flicking to disabled"? Always says disabled? Keeps flickering back and forth?

From the Today tab I select my profile picture (top left) and then select the device. On the next screen when I scroll down I can see an option listed for movement reminders. This is where it is showing a status of "disabled". However, when I click into that option the little toggle button at the top to turn it on/off is set to on and the hours/days for it to remind are selected. So it's showing as disabled despite it being switched on.
What I mean by flicking back and forth is if I go in and ensure the toggle button is definitely switched on (which it is), when I come back out of that menu it then shows a status of "on" for movement reminder. But as soon as I sync the Sense 2 to the app it switches back to disabled.
Photos below to help show what I mean.

I appreciate your getting all that detailed info for me. I don't know the answer, but have passed the info on to some other knowledgeable folks whom I hope will be coming to your aid.

Hi @Keelsw.
I'm not sure if you have tried this or not, but you could try uninstalling the Fitbit app (from your phone) and then re-installing it again. See if that makes any difference.
The other option (if the first doesn't work) would be to perform a factory reset on your Sense 2. Just make sure to sync it before you do this so that you don't lose any unsynced data.

Hi @N8teGee
unfortunately I’ve tried both uninstalling the app and factory reset on the device but neither have made a difference 😞
I feel at this point it might be a case of returning it!

I can't imagine it's actually the watch itself, but can understand if you can't get it working right, as long as it's still returnable. Wondering if your Versa is still working. Some people think the Sense 2 is not really much of an upgrade - some features removed and GPS not a strong point. But I guess it depends on what features are important to you. Of course you could try contacting support and/or maybe getting a replacement.

Yes I'm in agreement with @JohnnyRow, I don't believe it is a hardware issue. Although at this point I see no other option other than contacting customer support.

I really wish I would get the notices when I have almost, but not quite, completed my 250 steps per hour! My Fitbit 4 always let me know and I was thankful for it! I just assumed that was something that did not happen on Sense 2. I subscribed to Premium in January but still did not happen. I just cancelled Premium

I tried trouble shooting with customer support and they were unable to resolve but said they would get someone else to contact me (haven’t heard back from them yet). My Versa has been brilliant for years and I was only upgrading for the additional health tracking features and GPS on the Sense 2 but after this I’ve lost confidence in trying another one 😞
Think im going to cut my losses and try a Garmin instead! But appreciate your help, thought it was worth trying to community before I gave up 😊
@Tosca2 I always got the notifications on my versa with no problems and the Sense 2 is meant to have them also but sounds like it’s a bit glitchy if you’re also have the same problem!

I’m having the same problem, and NO ONE has a solution! I’m about ready to throw it away and and buy an Apple Watch! NOT happy!
Right here. It’s on and then when you sync it goes to disabled!

I'm having the same problem. Worked when I first received it, then after an update they recently did it stopped. Frustrating! All the reasons why I bought this thing are no longer working.
