I bought a fitbit sense 2 quite a while ago. It was sending me notifications at first but since then nothing. I had not thought much about it but I have been on my mobile fitbit app and it is set up to remind me to move, notifications are all set on my Fitbit app and mobile. I have held down the button waiting for a message, nothing. I bought the sense2 for health reasons. I kept my versa 2 and am charging that right now. I am going back to that. At least I got my notifications. The sense 2 has really been a waste of my money. It has not detected afib times. I have had to wear a monitor for 21 days. What a waste of money.

Welcome to the community @Rhetta.
Thank you for the details regarding this inconvenience with your Sense 2. Thanks for trying to fix it too.
Please, try to follow these steps:
1. Open the Fitbit app on your mobile phone.
2. Tap on the small circle at the top left of the screen - the user's profile photo-.
3. Tap the image icon of your Fitbit device.
4. Tap on the notifications option. (You may see a message in a colored box that says the notification service is not running.)
Touch the box of that message, whether or not the box appears, continue making the notification access settings and even though the permissions are already turned on, please turn off or disable and turn on or enable each one one by one.
5.Finally, synchronize your device again and verify that you can now receive notifications for both calls and messages.

It was in sleep mode. I have turned that off hoping I won't get notices to
move every so often....lol. Thank you

@Rhetta I would suggest you to check the Start and End Time in your Reminders to Move setting.
In my experience, that feature is never deterministic. For example, it won't work if you haven't been active for too long or sleeping. It's kind of heuristic to me. But there is never a clear documentation on how it should work AFAIK.

I posted a few days ago. My sense 2 is not reminding me to move. I got replies and tried them all and after doing so, now my steps are not being counted. I have reset the sense2 back to factory settings 3 times and have set it up again and still no reminders to move or steps counted on my watch front. It seems ever since google took over things have gone down hill. The notifications to move is not disabled. This is getting real old.
