I have a black screen. I have tried the reset - doesn't work. Fitbit logo flashes a few times, then a big red X appears. This Sense 2is fairly new - bought this last summer.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this difficulty with your Sense 2 and thank you for trying to fix it on your own.
Please, try to sync the device in the Fitbit app by tapping the upper left corner icon (the device icons) > Your Sense 2 > Sync now.
If Sync Now doesn't work, please tap the upper left corner icon one more time > Sense 2 > Tile to see if the firmware banner appears
If the firmware update banner does not show, press and hold the side button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, then release the button.
