This caused my Sense to have fatal errors. After the update, it started trying to sync with my work zebra then quit working all tofether
---
Are they going to replace the Senses that quit bc this update?
---
Same but my 2nd Sense. If Fitbit does not replace this I'm moving to different smartwatch company.
---
Initially (first 10hrs after update, my watch started trying to sync with a work zebra device (never issue before), the battery died and has not turned on since. I charge, get logo, then red X

Hi AnnG96,
I am invthe UK, a brief history 1st. I have been a Fitbit owner since 2016. The update my Sense 2 received in September rendered the watch unusable due to not pairing with my phone. Resetting did not work even with instructions over the phone from Fitbit support. Told to press and hold button for more than 10 seconds, only resulted in a big RED X!! I have phoned Fitbit numerous times. Eventually they sent me a refurbished Sense2 watch. Turned it on tried to pair with phone, all seemed OK but through the process it asked to do an update, had to accept as no other option. Same problem, big RED X. Called Fitbit again same scenario, sent watch back with postage paid by them, 3 weeks later another replacement, but this time before connecting watch I turned off auto update in the app. On initial set up it connected to the phone and the same, I had to accept an update but it worked OK. I now have a working Sense 2 watch. I have been notified of a new update for the watch since then, but because the watch is working, " Don't fix what ain't broke" For me it took nearly 3 months to resolve. Google fitbit support telephone number for your country and politely insist they replace your broken watch because of their corrupt update. I hope this helps. Regards, Andy

I have a Sense 2, is this update only available to members with a subscription? I have no subscription and see no update option.

Having issues it seems. Pressed update, I had it connected to charger, it said it could not connect, and not won't even turn on.

I just bought the Sense 2 on 11/20/24. I exchanged it 2 days ago and the new one doesn't work either. Stuck on the logo screen, flashes, gets a big red X and shuts down/restarts, but never makes it past the logo screen. Also keeps trying to initiate setup when it's already connected. I tried to put it through setup to see if that would help and now it's disconnected and won't go through setup. PLEASE FIX THIS!! I had the my last Sense for over 3 years with no issues.
Also why was Google Assistant taken away in lieu of Alexa on a GOOGLE product??? At least make it an option so people can choose which they want.
I wish my first Sense was still working. This one is awful. Please fix the firmware or issue a recall on these ASAP or you're going to loose customer's to Apple.

It looks like the update has bugs based on all the comments I see. I have a Sense 2 that is not counting floors correctly since the update
As for me I updated in September, ever since then it is counting floors that I am not taking. Sometimes I have 5-10 floors when I wake up in the morning. I have had 100 + floors and never left the house all day. I contacted support, tried all the stuff they said to try (which I had already done), but I did it again anyway. The best answer I get from FITBIT Support is it must have a bug and I will have to wait till the next update with no idea when that will be.
Please note prior to the version 20001.210.26 update the floors were always 100% accurate. I am a premium member, and I am very disappointed with this being an issue reported my many people and nothing seemly being done to correct it. When the company I work for have an issue like this it gets corrected ASAP. In fact we notify our customers of the issue and expected time for resolution. Does FITBIT even care?
