Hello,
I am trying to update my Fitbit Sense 2 but the "Update" button in the Fitbit app is completely unresponsive.
I have already:
- Reinstalled the app
- Unpaired and paired again
- Planned a factory reset
Unfortunately, I also cannot reach Fitbit support through the chat form because it keeps showing
"Please refresh this page and try again. There was a problem with the contact form."
Could a moderator please help me reset the server data for my account
so that I can start from a clean state?
Device: Fitbit Sense 2
Version: 60.20001.214.24
This is for a research project, so a stable setup is very important.
Any help would be appreciated!

I am having this same issue and followed the same steps. Support told me my battery is no longer working properly and sent me a code to buy a new watch. I do feel like there is another issue happening though.

There is absolutely something else happening. My Luxe is doing the same thing. Screen went dark and not responding, but the device is sync'ing with my phone just fine. It was rebooted using the cable and the screen flashes the Fitbit logo for a split second, so I know the screen is ok. Device won't update firmware and I can't hard-reset because the option to wipe data is on the device itself.
Just about to give up and go buy an Apple Watch. Google has absolutely trashed the quality of this product and started putting features behind a paywall. When there are mass problems like this one, support is completely quiet.

Absolutely the exact same for me. I’ve tried EVERYTHING suggested- HOURS later STILL the button for update is non-responsive- so frustrating- I’ve had Fitbit since 2016. Never experienced this - it’s a new SENSE I purchased-
