Sense 2 - How To Control Music Playback?

Hello,

I purchased a Sense 2. When doing exercise I need to be able to start, pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, etc.. the music playing back on my Iphone. How do I do this with my Sense 2?

My friend has a Versa and when they play music on their Iphone, they can control the music playback easy. I tried for days and could not get it to work. Two sales reps at BestBuy also could not get it to work. Website says that the Sense 2 has music controls. But so far, I cannot get my Sense 2 to control the music playback on my phone.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I purchased the Sense 2 specifically for this.

Thx

You are on Sense forum not Sense 2. If you bought Sense 2 bad luck. There is no music controls on Sense 2 at all.

Also, need to mention that the the MP3 Files are stored on my Iphone 13.

I am not looking to store music on the Sense 2. I only want to control music playback natively using the Sense 2 or using a connector app that I can install.

I moved your post to the Sense 2 forum.  Sadly, it doesn't change the fact that @t.parker is correct.

Spoiler
We can double-press the button on the watch anytime (even during a workout) to access quick shortcuts, one of which is notifications. Tap on notifications, then tap on the notification from your audio-playing app on your phone, and audio-control options (app-dependent) would appear. This assumes the audio-playing app on your phone is one that gives a persistent notification that contains playback control options when the app is playing audio. It's a band-aid solution but better than nothing

Fingers crossed Fitbit doesn't decide to "patch" this "loophole" with a future update, however unlikely or likely it may be. I don't trust Fitbit anymore (and it's true that they've taken away features before - see PC music file transfers on the Versa 2). I would advise everyone to be wary of future updates Fitbit releases; wait for initial reviews before deciding to install anything.  > <
