Sense 2 Incorrect time zone

Hi All,

I’ve moved from the Netherlands to Aruba. My fit hit however will not count my steps in the correct Timezone.

I've followed all the steps I could find online:

- changing to manual and choosing a location and time zone

- changing the time zone on the Fitbit google site

- changing the location / Timezone on my google account

- deleting and reinstalling the app / logging in and out ( it always turns back to Dutch when reinstalling)

The app and the watch stick to the Dutch Timezone, whilst the language does change to Spanish on both the site, app and Sense 2

if anyone could advise I’d be very happy

thanks

Kate.

Some have said it helps to switch to some other obviously incorrect time zone, then switch back to your correct one.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hello @katiecroes and @JohnnyRow!  Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Thank you for sharing the details about your Sense 2 that has the incorrect hour.  I appreciate all the steps you try before contacting.

In this case, my best suggestion is that you manually select a country that has the same time zone as Aruba, for example the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico, and verify that your mobile phone also has the desired time zone and language.

After changing the time zone please restart your Sense 2 and sync with your app.
