Recently, Google Wallet just disappeared from the Fitbit app on my Pixel 8 and it disappeared from my Sense 2 as well. All was working just fine and then one day the Google Wallet was gone. I had attributed it to the possibility that the screen replacement for the vertical green line on the screen I had done under Google's extended warranty might have caused some damage to the NFC of the phone and thus it caused the Sense 2 to loose the functionality as well, but that was not the case as I tested the Google Wallet tap and pay and it worked just fine. I tried resetting the Sense 2, pairing it again with the Pixel, of which I had a heck of a time as it appeared the firmware updates were not completing and getting stuck at 50% or 75% or something where the circular animation of install just stops. Something was causing the update NOT to finish and I surmised it was likely do to something that was wrong with the Google Wallet on my Pixel. When I would finally held the Sense 2 button down for 10 sec, it would reboot. I was able to connect it to my Pixel but in the Fitbit app only Google Maps and Youtube Music showed up... NO Google Wallet!
Finally, the fix that worked for me to recover Google Wallet Tap and Pay on the Sense 2:
I am back to were I was before. I think either a Fitbit App update or some partial firmware update caused the issues. Either way, something went out of sync and the functionality went away. The fix was to delete the storage and cache of the Google Play Store and Services. Note that I had paired my Sense 2 to an older OnePlus N200 and the Google Wallet showed up in the Fitbit app on the OnePlus. So, this lead me to believe something was wrong with some configuration on my Pixel 8. Well, this took me a totally of several hours over a few days of experimenting to finally get Google Wallet to work again on my Sense 2. This was the "nuclear" option but it was a suggestion from Google Gemini as a "Advanced technique" I think it was characterized as. This worked for me but with the number of variables you might have on your configuration of phone and device, who knows... Good luck!
