Sense 2 Not working - not charging

My Sense 2 will not charge at all. I had problems with charging earlier this year and it righted itself but now after using it while swimming, it won’t charge at all. It’s totally dead nothing showing on the screen. I have cleaned the terminals on the charger and watch and purchased 2 new chargers but still nothing.. Can anyone suggest anything?

Hello @Firefox911! Welcome to our community forums!

Thank you for letting me know that your Sense 2 is not working and doesn't charge. I appreciate all the steps you tried before contacting.

  • Could you tell us if your monitor reacts at any time? For example by connecting it to the charging cable. Does it make a good connection? Does it vibrate? Can you see something on the screen?
  • How long do you charge your Fitbit?
  • How do you charge your monitor regularly? Do you connect it to a computer or use a wall connection?
  • Are the green lights on the back on?
  • When you press the button for 3 seconds, does it vibrate?
  • Confirm if you have completed the recommended steps here.  How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Additionally I suggest trying to restart and charge in a different power source.

Hi there,
I charge my sense 2 on cable and doc station connection both by socket charge. There is nothing showing when I connect it. It is just a black screen nothing showing. I have tried everything. I clean the watch with a cotton bud. I can’t restart as there is no charge. I have tried everything. Run out of ideas. Cheers for coming back with your suggestions. I think it might be time to renew it

Hi @Firefox911 - if the watch got wet it is strongly possible it has actually died.

Even though it won't turn on, leaving it on charge could be dangerous as it might get hot, so be careful.

@Firefox911 - unfortunately that setting doesn't make it more waterproof when the seals have failed.
