Sense 2 Notifications not received

I had to choose a new watch face because the old one was draining the battery. Now I’m not receiving notifications. I restarted the watch and it didn’t help. Seems this happen a couple times a year and restarting the watch would fix it. Totally lost now..

Hi @TonyMan!  It’s nice to see you here!

I'm sorry to hear that your Sense 2  is not receiving notifications. I appreciate all the steps you have tried before contacting us.

Please confirm that all the requirements below are met on both your mobile device and the app:

  1. Are notifications enabled on your Sense 2? Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the quick settings icon and Make sure Do Not Disturb and Sleep modes are turned off.
  2. Does your phone have Do Not Disturb disabled?
  3. Is your phone up to date? What is the Android/iOS version?
  4. Do you have your app allowed to run in the background?
  5. Please confirm that Power Saver is not enabled on your phone as this feature disables Bluetooth. Phone Settings / Battery / Power Saving Mode
  6. Make sure your phone receives notifications when it's locked. On your phone, tap Settings / Apps & Notifications / Notifications / Notifications on Lock Screen.
  7. To receive app notifications, make sure they're delivered to your phone. On your phone, tap Settings / Apps & Notifications / Notifications and look for Recently Sent.

Once you've verified the requirements, please take a look at the following article and try the troubleshooting steps. If you have an iPhone, you will find a section with tips to receive the notifications: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device

I am also having a problem. I can turn on phone and text notifications but when I go into app notifications it is blank.

I can’t setup what’s app, fb messenger etc

Tried everything including a full factory reset.

All my settings are correct, Fitbit and IOS all up to date. It was all working fine until a few days ago when I tried to add Snapchat notifications I noticed the list was empty.

Went through all the recommended steps n now I only get calls and texts and lost all my other app notifications I was previously receiving

I've checked everything on the list and all was good, except somehow it was in DND mode. I changed that, restarted the watch again, had a test message sent to me, and still no notification.

Well, there was an IOS update two days ago. After that the notifications mysteriously showed up again. Not sure what to say except this has happened in the past then all of a sudden it works again. 🤷
