Hello - I just bought a Sense 2 for focusing on improving my Sleep and Stress reduction habits. I sync with a Samsung Galaxy S20.
Unfortunately, I'm seeing buggy behavior with the Stress functions/features after a few days which I don't see with the other functions. It's getting frustrating... and ironically, not helping my stress levels! I list them below.
Any help, insight or confirmation of this is really appreciated, thanks!
- tapping the stress box/widget on the home screen continually sends me to the first intake & settings dialog, asking me to "log my first mood" and establish my stress settings time after time. Seems like the app software doesn't remember the first time settings??
- the Body Responses tab/screen on the Sense2 always shows this below, redirecting to the app. Is that expected? I would've thought either my stress management score or body responses over time would be displayed, similar to the activity summary or heartbeat tab/screens
- tapping the Open button on this page doesn't reliably take me to the stress management page on the app. It's brought up the Calories page like shown below or the first Intake dialog described in my first bullet above
- the "Stress mgmt score" in the Sense 2 data summary list shown below never gets updated and always says to Grant Permissions in Mobile app. Even after I've set all 3 available selections to be ON in the stress mgmt settings of the app. Is there another setting I need to enable somewhere? Can't find if so.

It appears that you have not set up stress management.
----------
If you require assistance then the instructions are replied to this post.
To set up Stress Management, you will have to set up the cEDA sensor. To do that log your mood from that second picture you posted. After that, you will see a settings icon at the top right corner. Click that and enable the cEDA and the "Get Notified" feature right underneath.

this doesn't work. It keeps restarting everytime I open the body responses app - either using my phone or Sense 2.

Thanks FSuggest. Notifications work for me, no issue there - I do recieve pings on my Sense 2 when body responses are detected.
Problems I see are as outlined above and I'll reiterate: even though I have body responses, notifications and weekly summary reminders set in the app, my Sense 2 screen doesn't show anything useful (Stress Mgmt Score or body responses at a glance) as other functions. Is there another setting somewhere I'm missing?
Photos below are taken today after re-confirming the behavior

Thanks, Ramoselisa - I think you're referring to the Stress Management "Intake Screens" (I'm calling them) like shown below?
These sequence of questions always show up for me - seems like a bug. No other functions in the app are doing this for me.
Reconfirmed behavior still present this morning.
FYI for anyone else reading this, I have been logging my moods with body responses consistently the past few days and these "intake screens" are still showing.

I am having this SAME EXACT ISSUE!! It's making me very frustrated. I have been chatting and talking with support and it gets no where... They are not understanding that the image for what stress tile is supposed to show (as illustrated on the app install screen under screen image) is not coming up ever. I tried uninstalling them reinstalling, the watch, the app, the tile, the watch again... Nothing.
Have you been able to find a solution? Do you know of others that have had this similar issue? Was considering it was just a faulty watch and considering returning it and seeing if a new watch would do the same thing? Were you considering this? It seems to be primarily a watch issue in the first place.

Ahhh, Thanks Ehughs! I think you're referring to this tile view in the app? EXACTLY - I've never seen this on my watch face.
I havent reached out to tech support yet, trying forums here first. Ive yet to hear a helpful comment or suggestion, just confirmations. I haven't considered changing my watch yet - from what I see, it feels like a software or firmware issue or bug?
Are we able to point tech support to this forum entry / thread and get a response from them? I haven't tried that yet.
FYI my Sense 2 Firmware version is 60.20001.184.52
Phone is Samsung Galaxy S20 with Android version 13

Also, many times the emotions listed do not accurately match to what I'm feeling at the moment. More emotions need to be made available

I contacted FitBit Support - they directed me to update firmware to the latest version 20001.194.61. I'm awaiting for their progressive roll-out to hit my phone so I may update.
Can anyone confirm if this Sense 2 FW update fixes these issues or not?

Are you able to see the SpO2 app on your Sense 2? I see mine is installed, but the option is not available on my watch. I am trying to determine if this is a problem with the firmware of the watch or there is a flaw with the watch itself... It seems more of a firmware problem, but on the update message, nothing is mentioned about this issue.

I just purchased a Sense 2. I turned on all the of permissions for the Stress Management Score. However, the tile on my phone keeps saying "Grant permissions in mobile app". Whenever I open the app, I'm asked to allow the permissions for Stress Management again. Even when I allow the permissions, they seem to go away once I close the app. How can I get the Stress Management function to start working properly?

I'm getting this too. It is really annoying. I select all slider buttons and then when I go back to the app later I have to go through it all again.
Would like to upvote this problem and find a solution

I had the same issue, in my Sense 2 it is always displayed the button to open the app in the phone, no summary at all.
When I open the app and go to the stress management, it ask me to configure everything as it was the first time. It keeps on a on, it's like the configuration was not saved. Very annoying. 😥

I am having the same problem. It appears Fitbit isn't interested in fixing the problem

I have an android. I went into my phone's Settings > Apps > Fitbit > Permissions > and turned on all permissions. I found that several were toggled off. After turning them all on, the Fitbit app seemed to keep the Stress Management setting turned on. That lasted 2 days. Now the app is back to resetting the Stress Management settings everytime I turn them back on. It's pointless.

I have the same problem too. How do we get someone from Fitbit to actually jump in here with a solution?

I've been in touch with Fitbit support too. Their first instruction was for me to shut down and then restart the watch. That did nothing. Then they told me to go back to factory settings with initially created more problems until I did a factory reset again, and now I'm right back where I started. The initial problem still exists. This is very frustrating as it is this very feature that made me choose this specific watch in the first place.
I'm on version 60.20001.184.52 currently. Any idea when this new update becomes available (in the Netherlands)?

Thanks Lizzy - hope you're more sucessful getting this addressed for others. For me, it's too little too late. It's frustrating that this clearly defined problem didn't get escalated attention for over a month. Fitbit support was poor and didn't do this when directed to my post. I'm sure any fitbit employee (from sales, marketing, engineering or validation teams) could have easily reproduced the problem.
I lost confidence in fitbit support and hardware weeks ago and returned my Sense2. I won't update this thread further. Maybe someone else can update others here who continues to monitor the issue with their device and ongoing firmware updates.
Good luck all
