Hi @Biskit36 - you don't have to protect the charging points but although the watch is supposed to be waterproof and may resist water ingression, it depends on how it is treated over time.

Fitbit say "Even though it may be ok to shower with our water-resistant devices, not doing so reduces the potential for exposure to soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, which can cause long-term damage to your device and may cause skin irritation. We also don’t recommend wearing any of our devices in a hot tub or sauna."

Some have had problems with water getting in which is not a problem while under warranty.

For laps see https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Sense-2/New-sense-2-swimming/m-p/5249180/highlight/true#M1117

If it locks in Swimming you may have to dry it and double press the button to exit.

@Biskit36 swimming is implemented poorly. Lap counting doesn't exist on the watch, there is no laps breakdown in the app. All you get is this:

And that number isn't even correct from the session I did swim. If you want watch for swimming you will do youself a favour of you look for something more dedicated.
