Sense 2 and HRV

My sense 2 says my hrv is 25. Is this accurate for my age? I'm 44. Does anyone else have their watch telling them they have low HRV?

Thanks

Hi @Crystal020378 - seems pretty good and you can get more info if you click "learn more" just above the graph. It's showing a trend and if constant that's generally a good sign. It can be used in conjunction with other factors such as RHR or stress.

Thank you. I was just a little worried. It says it's within my personal range on Fitbit. But, I just wondered if it was too low.

I wouldn't worry about it. Mine goes up and down depending on sleep or if I go to bed soon after eating. I don't think it's telling anyone anything significant about their real underlying heart health.

I get extremely low HRVs on Sense 2 (like low to mid-teens).  It alarmed me at first.  It also didn't make a lot of sense, given that my resting HR is low to mid-sixties, and the app keeps telling me that I have excellent cardiovascular fitness for my age, while also telling me that I am falling far short of what I can do, even when I am exhausted.  I think that's because the device reports numbers without context.  The app doesn't know that I have a sleep disorder, or that I have to heavily dose myself with melatonin to sleep at all.  And while it knows I am 73 years old, it doesn't know how bad my arthritis is, or how unrealistic it is for me to really get my heart rate up to their standards.  I simply cannot physically do what they think I can.  So, the bottom line, I think, is to take the numbers with a grain of salt.  Interesting signposts, perhaps, but without the context needed to provide the interpretations and recommendations that are provided.  I try to ignore those, and just use the data to help me understand what is going on  and to chart my own path.  Fitbit's path is crazy for me!
