Sense 2 and the big red X

Is Fitbit/Google ignoring rhe issues? They just sent me my 3rd Sense 2 today, and once again it keeps cutting off and trying to reset itself. Unfortunately it won't stay on long enough. I don't know what I should do at this point. I am so torn. I've worn a Fitbit since 2014.

Hold in the side button as a restart, but keep holding it in through the red X, until it starts acting normal, might be about double the usual restart time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
