I upgraded to the Sense2 but the battery life is awful. I'm lucky if I get 24 hours out of it. Useless if I want to track my activity AND my sleep pattern. There are lots of pages telling me to turn something off, reduce the brightness and other things that I SURELY shouldn't have to do with a new device. How can I tell if there's a fault, or is this just normal for the new sense?

Hello,
The battery life you are describing is not typical. For example, I get around 5-7 days with moderate use with always on display OFF.
With always on display ON ~3 days.
Please share more details and settings and let's see what can be done with a little troubleshooting.

It all depends on how you use the watch. For example, using GPS eats up a lot of battery since there needs to be a constant connection to the phone. If you have a lot of notifications coming through, that's another issue. Finally, due mainly to bezzle size, the "Always On" display drains huge amounts of battery power.

Hi @RachelGo - if you use GPS during activity it is rated to exhaust the battery after 5 hours, though in practice it may be slightly longer but no more than 12 hours.
Turning things off can make lesser of an improvement.
Try not using any GPS or Always On in between charges and see if you get 6 days, to know if the watch is faulty or not.

I've been using the sense 2 since November 2023. I've been getting 7 days use out of it albeit I do not use the GPS often only it I run or.if I want to track a long walk. I haven't switched off any apps but I do put it in sleep mode, I still.get all notifications but my phone doesn't vibrate (unless I want it to)

I get about 72 hours. Display timeout is set 20 seconds, and I don’t use it for notifications (primarily because it really doesn’t work consistently). I also don’t use GPS. I got it mostly to track steps for our reward program at work and sleep (the latter of which is horribly inaccurate).
