I just got the new sense 2 and the call and text notifications aren’t working. Was told by Fitbit that this isn’t working yet. Is this true? Anyone else having this issue with their iPhone? How do you release a new product that you know has problems?

Hi, i am using Android device. Yday got the Fitbit sense 2 and setup is done. notifications are fine showing and getting calls notification on watch , but when I answer the call from the watch its going to mobile.
Could you some please confirm, is there problem with device? Or Call features not available? If we get updates in future does that call option work for the same device. Please some one provided some light,
If we don't see any help from Fitbit on this, so will got product replacement or cancellation.
Thank you

I presume you want Wrist Calls, that doesn't work at the moment but is promised to be added soon. For the time being I just press the answer button on the watch and then make it over to the phone only to hear Hello, Hello, Hello 😁
The topic you want is wrist calls, also it often helps to know are you on Android or iOS. Android will get these things first.

update Got the text notifications working from my Iphone. 2 settings were incorrect. 1. on the watch itself the sleep mode was on. 2. on the iphone I didnt have show previews enabled. This solved the issue. Hope it helps.

I have this problem too. I checked and DND is off, as is Sleep mode. (I do have a Schedule Mode set for no disturbances between 930pm-700am). Notifications is turned on in the app as well as in Settings/Bluetooth on the iPhone.
I’ve tried resetting and restarting a few times. I’ve force quit the app and deleted and reinstalled it. Nothing fixes this. I suspect it’s a Fitbit issue. Hope they fix it!

I found this out also but only by looking for myself. Had asked Fitbit support they didn’t know. Also my phone started ringing on my watch. I can answer but no one can hear me and I can’t hear anyone. Been going back and forth with support and they just tell to check my settings. I can use my watch to ask Alexa and I can hear her response on my watch so I know the microphone works. Very frustrating. If phone isn’t available yet on watch why doesn’t their tech support know that?

You literally have to look 3 messages above your own complaint to find the answer to your problem which I posted a few days ago. Do yourself a favor and read the forum messages 1st, before engaging tech support as if I would be in tech support I would be frustrated with people that can't be bothered to read, search or Google for their problems. Error is between keyboard and chair 😁

Well, wrist calls (your post) do not pose the same problem I was discussing. Two different things: device not receiving wrist calls versus device not notifying when phone gets a text or call by vibrating.
My Sense 2 had been vibrating upon receiving notice of a text or call on my phone, but now it’s not doing that anymore. I can’t figure out how to fix it.

1st off it is always good to know the ECO system you are in iOS or Android because it narrows down any possible suggestions. Since setting up the Sense 2 my Samsung Galaxy S21 has flawlessly sent notifications for Texts, emails, Fitbit, WhatApp and phone calls. Google is Android so expect they will give more attention that this will work. Try this though, power off iphone, then shut down Sense 2, next power up Sense 2 and power up the iphone. See if they synch. If yes then your Bluetooth is working and some other settings could possibly be the cause. I use the same settings for DND and sleep mode and nothing will come to the watch between 11pm and 9am.
As last resort and I know you have tried it, uninstall Fitbit app, unpair the Sense 2 and start again with pairing, logging into Fitbit app and finish a new setup. Can't be very helpful with iOS as I only own Apple stock but not their products.

I figured it out. For my android I had to have on my phone turned on to preview messages. I only had the notification turned on that I got a text. Now it works fine. Calls arent supported yet so you only get the incoming call and can either accept or decline.

My solution since it seems to be a problem with not IOS ready yet, was to return the sense 2 and I am now an Apple Watch 8 owner. So far exceeding my expectations. Sorry Fitbit community. I’ve owned a Fitbit since almost the beginning of Fitbits inception but have had it.
