Sense 2 will not turn on. I can only get the icon start up screen when it is plugged in but it will not go past that and does not appear to be taking a charge.

When you see the logo on the tracker, is Fitbit showing as connected on your smart phone?  If yes, I would suggest holding the side button until you see the red X.  Once it restarts, immediately do the same thing.  Then again 1 more time (3rd time).  Now hold the side button but let go once it reboots.  You're only looking for a reboot, not a red X this time. Leave Fitbit app open and wait 20 minutes.  Keep it charging.  Eventually you should see a progression bar on the tracker.  If you do, it's reinstalling all apps.  Obviously your smart phone must have internet during this process and be showing as connected to the Sense 2 via Bluetooth in the Fitbit app.  Goodluck!

Thanks for advice. It appears that it will not connect with my phone.  Does it matter that the only way I get the start up screen is if it is connected to the charger while trying to charge?

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're facing with your Fitbit Sense 2. If your device is stuck at the startup screen and won't turn on, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try  codes bellow codes: Press and hold the button on the side of your Fitbit Sense 2 for about seconds until it restarts. This can sometimes resolve minor software glitches

The side button does not reset the device. Is there another way to reset the Sense 2? All I can get to happen is the blue diamond during start up but only when the devise is connected to the charger.
