Ever since the most recent update, I've struggled with my device. The screen moves around too quickly, buttons are too hard to press, and it seems like the heart rate monitor is malfunctioning. It's not registering the way it should or registering consistently. I am very disappointed as this device is less than a year old and should absolutely not be functioning the way it currently is.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Alloluda.
Thanks for letting me know about these situations with the screen, buttons and hear rate tracking using your Sense 2.
I recommend you to do the following in order to help improve the functionality of these several features you mention you felt an impact after the update:
- In the Fitbit app, touch your profile picture, touch your Fitbit device and click 'Sync Now'. This will help you synchronize it.
- Restart your device by following the steps here.
- After this, change the clock face of your Charge 5. In the Fitbit app, you can access the image of your profile and the image of your Fitbit device, touch the gallery and the screen and click on the clock face, preferably one of Fitbit and install.
- Check the tips in this article, this is specifically for your hear rate tracking.

While I appreciate these suggestions, I want to make it clear that none of these things were issues until the latest update. The heart rate monitor worked consistently up until the update. Now, now matter how hard I work my heart rate isn't consistent. I have actually already done your other suggestions - the screen still continues to jump around under my fingers. Again, none of this was an issue before the update.

I’ve just switched from Versa to Sense 2 and couldn’t be more disappointed… this thing stops tracking exercise when I need it and then starts tracking it when I’m in bed. I’ve done all I could. It just sucks. This is my last fit bit.

And it's so frustrating because of the price point. I was expecting something that was going to be better than my versa and honestly I could have just saved my money, especially after this update seems to have broken things even worse.

Thank you for sharing this info. I just noticed that my Sense 2 was up for an update and just as I was about to pull the trigger on it I read your post. Every time there's an update things go wrong, which makes you wonder who the hell is verifying these updates before they release them publicly. Needless to say I will not do an update unless I absolutely have to. It took months for them to fix the floor count and it seems like when they fix 1 problem, they create 3 more.
