The watch still go to sleep mode when exercise started

And the count stop.

@Carcar131- there a different states for a watch, clock mode, exercise mode, Always on mode, Display timeout mode and Sleep mode.

It may be that your exercise is merely ending [for some reason] but the watch is not entering sleep mode, just the display going off.

Watch Sleep mode merely dims the display, removes wrist wake and stops notifications.

If you want the display to stay on during exercise enable the always on option.

If you are using exercising GPS and the signal gets lost the exercise may get stopped [with display off or on].
