Hi @Rajuks - steps are recorded due to arm movements and even small vibrations and is a measure of activity so a certain number of movements will register as steps.
The watch is not a step counter per se and if you are only interested in counting steps a dedicated step counter should be used.
You can eliminate a few extra steps for random movements by switching to dominant wrist in your web dashboard settings and wearing on your non dominant wrist.
There may be an option to select driving as an exercise and it will not count steps at all but you may forget to turn it off and lose real steps.
