Sense 2 is tracking too many calories

All of a sudden, one day my Fitbit Sense began giving me about 33% more calories burned, with no change in my daily routine, exercise, weight, diet, or steps. I went from an average of about 2,900 cal burned daily to an average of almost 4,000 cal burned daily. It just happened approximately Christmas Day. I did not change or adjust anything on the Sense, and as I wrote, there have been no personal changes by me. Any thoughts?

Check your weight gain. Sometimes weight gets entered incorrectly by mistake causing big change in calorie burn.  Sometimes a misplaced decimal point; this doesn't seem big enough to be that, but can be something not obvious if don't look closely.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
