Sense 2 issues

So i've had Sense 2 for about 2 weeks now. I used to have Versa 2 (which is probably best one out of the two in mu opinion).

 

Problem 1 -

I have my alarms set for the week, and since my rota changes every week I'll have to turn off, then turn bk on again. And i never have it set on Sundays because i dont work Sundays. BUT Sense 2 will ALWAYS go off everyday, even if not set, it also goes off twice, as if ive hit Snooze when i havent.

 

Problem 2 -

When i go to gym and do my weighted strength workouts, Versa would tell you how much fat burn you'd do aswell as cardio. BUT Sense 2 isnt showing buggar all for my workouts. which infuriates me - u do 90 min workout and 0 min fat burn?? And this is what always always happens everytime im in gym. Its made me go off gym tbh.

 

Problem 3 -
I've mentioned this to fitbit and they've said they'll sort it out, just send them it bk t get new one - how'd i know this new one is not going to be the same as this?? this isnt helping at all. Fitbit wont even answer me back now unless i sent them this watch.

Problem 4 - 
I had bought a face covering to protect screen, But if you're ever wanting to do a EDA test, you can't as screen protection covers the rims around screen so it wont work.

Problem 4 - 
I was getting asked constantly 'How are you feeling?' and i did log it on first week. its STILL asking me though. Someone said  ït is because it checks stress levels more than fat burn" - is this true? I dont car about stress levels. I deleted that off the watch last night, so it shouldný ever ask me again hopefully and maybe exercise fat burn shows? I duno, im just fuming over all this when it was no cheap thing. Defo not worth the money.

Hi @ash_1985  - actually the Versa 2 is probably the best watch for HR if you do gym or exercises.

The new UI in the Sense 2 can be problematic, you will have less problems with a Sense where alarms work but HR isn't as good as the Versa 2.

Did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

That way you can choose the right watch for your needs, even consider other brands if you want music or longer battery life.

For real sport Garmin allow connecting of chest strap.

Screen protectors do have to be removed when doing a scan.

Sorry what did you mean by UI?

 

FitBIt got back to me and they said to return this watch back to them and they'll give me a new one. They said to drop it off at a DHL location and there are no DHL locations near me, closest one is across the water. So that's useless!

 

ALSO, I've heard from someone else in the FitBit Facebook Group she's having same problems too with the exercise thing.

I just feel like gettin refunded back and get another Versa. 

I managed to turn off the whole 'how are you feeling'?' thing on Sense though so that's one problem dealt with.

 

But it is just a major disappointment for exercise. As i like to screenshot screen and stick it on Strava, to say much fat burn u got by doin this etc. But now it shows u nothing so I cant post screenshots now on Strava :(|

I am not really wanting to pay 100s of pounds for a Garmen watch.

@ash_1985 - UI is the User Interface, it's different to previous watches and less complete.

 

If you need reasonably reliable heart rate for exercises, Versa 2 is not expensive especially as it's a free replacement in your case.

Its not so much heart rate i want. i just want to be able to see how much you burnt.
Are you not able to attach photos here? I was going to show you what sense and versa looked like when its showing you your exercises and all the cardio or fat burn you had done.

Versa 2 i had for years and thought i'd upgrade to Sense, the newest fitbit to only be disappointed.
This just had to happen when I blumming buy all the bands and screen covers for Sense too.

@ash_1985 - the Sense original will work and is a nice watch but you can't rely on accurate Heart Rate during exercise like you can with the Versa 2.

So you'd chose versa 2 than Sense 2?

@ash_1985 - unless there is something specific you need from a Sense 1, a Versa 2 is a better choice than a Sense 2 especially if you are interested in monitoring Heart Rate.

 

A Sense 1 is also better than a Sense 2 with the extra features, which work, and better UI.

Its a Sense 2. I just thought its the latest one. does wot Versa does, just a bit more.

 

But the exercise results r just different.

 

So wot overall is best to get lol. Wot do u have and wot do u use it for?

@ash_1985-  If they agree to refund you the Sense 2, do that, then you can choose what to do next.

If your Versa 2 failed [why was that?] and is not under warranty, you can get a new Versa 2 or a Sense 1 [in the shops or online], as you have the bands and protectors.

The Versa 2 is normally robust with few issues.

As mentioned the Sense 1 can have issues - the [Sense 2] bands and protectors should be compatible with it.

It is up to you to decide which suits you best.

Well know wot kept on happening to the Versa 2??

It failed me about 3 times.

Because the screen kept falling out of the watch! and I'd mention this to Fitbit and they said its expired so they offered me a discount on nxt Fitbit  BUT they said this discount would only work for another Versa 2!? So I bought another versa 2. And this happened again and again. But Fitbit kept saying it's expired - but only because this was still under the very first versa I got, not the replacements. But the latest Versa, which also had screen fall out too, lol, and after speaking to Fitbit again, they said about the discount (again) but this time they didn't mention anything about it has to be another Versa etc. So i went for it and bought the newest, latest Fitbit with a discount...only to be disappointed.

Spoke to Fitbit (again!) to say why's this/that happening etc. they told me do thsi/that which i did. Nothing worked. So now they're telling me to send them it and they'll give me a replacement when they get it.

@ash_1985 - thanks, you have had issues! So they replace your Sense 2 but it may not solve anything, especially if it's a software issue.

Yeah that’s exactly what I was saying to them. I said how’d I know this new replacement isn’t gona be like this one! Yeah and they said to drop it off to

ur nearest DHL location, which is across water so forget it lol. They said they could maybe collect it and go phone this number which isn’t a freephone number so I’m totally lost on wtf to do.

@ash_1985- ask if  you can have a full refund - you will still need to return it. Then you are free to choose whatever you want in the shops, note a Versa 2 or Sense 1 or Versa 3 is a lot cheaper than a Sense 2, may be even with any discount.

Yeah but they want me to send it first then I get refund or exchange.

Anything is cheaper than this sense 2.

but which is best is wot I want to know lol.
