For some reason my Sense 2 keeps auto-recognizing exercise even though I have set it to manual.  Any thoughts?

Hello @masterhuh and welcome to the Community.  The Sense 2 has Fitbit's SmartTrack feature.  If I'm reading your post correctly, this is the feature you turned off.  That path is tap on profile avatar > Activity & Wellness > Exercise > the seven activities on the Auto Recognized list with all toggled to Ingore.  The Sense 2 has an additional feature for three activities: Run Detect, Walk Detect and Bike Detect.  If your Sense 2 senses one of these activities, it will ask if you want to use the Exercise app to track it.  It is On by default.  You need to go in to the specific settings for each of these shortcuts to turn them off.

I wear a Versa 3 and it has Run Detect.  Fitbit added Walk and Bike Detect to the Sense 2 and Versa 4 in response to user requests.
