Sense 2 keeps showing Fitbit pay notification

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This is getting beyond annoying now. My Fitbit Sense 2, keeps vibrating and popping up the message - ‘To pay, double press the left side button and tap payments’, every 10 to 15 minutes. I am in India and there is no Fitbit pay here (till date) and it is not even set up.

I have tried everything from updating firmware, to restarting a hundred times, but this issue does not go.

This is clearly a bug and till date there has been no fix for this. This is by the worst Fitbit device I have owned being a loyal customer for over a decade.

Does anyone else faces this issue? Is there a fix to this problem? Is Fitbit going to acknowledge this problem and provide a fix ?

Has fitbit resolved this issue? I had bought one back in April and had to return due to this bug/glitch.  I'm hesitant to get another one unless this has been fixed as it was extremely annoying with it going off every couple minutes.

Mine also does this, it's incredibly annoying since I want to use the text function (limited though it is) but every time I think I have a message, it's just the 'to pay .. ' notification again. I work in an area where I can't have my phone in my hands because I'm busy doing other things so it would be great if I could actually not have to dismiss that notification constantly.

Respectfully, save the canned responses and find a solution. It's been going on every day since I got this thing for Christmas and it even happens while I'm sleeping. There's no reason this should still be an issue. I'd rather not even have the Google pay technology attached to my Fitbit for the sake of how entirely obnoxious it is. I'm not pleased at all with the poor performance of this particular Fitbit. I've been using Fitbit for years but this is disappointing. I do not recommend Fitbit to anyone right now with such poor customer service and tech support.

While this issue seems to have resolved now, few weeks back , my sense 2 buzzed while I was at home and it had the same message. Luckily the message did not pop up again. To conclude, I can easily say this is the worst Fitbit device I have ever owned.

I'm new to the watch.  How do I change the long press setting.  Please provide steps and THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Turn off shortcuts by following these instructions.  It fixed it for me!  Basics | Fitbit Sense 2 User Manual  Fitbit customer service was no help and was trying to get me to send my brand new watch in for a replacement.  Customer service is not good/knowledgeable.
