My husband bought me this watch for Christmas 2021 so I could monitor my heart rate after being in the ICU for four days after knee fusion surgery. The watch stopped working after one year and was replaced under warranty. The second watch only lasted four months and stopped working. It was no longer under warranty, so it couldn't be replaced. I know what he paid for the watch and it was excessive for the problems I have had. I am bedridden, so I can't even use the steps part of the watch. You can't believe how ripped off I feel that this watch wouldn't work. He passed away on 12/31, so he doesn't know the watch failed again. I am so upset that the brand that everyone tries to imitate turned out to be so disappointing. I know his heart was in the right place with this purchase, but he would be horrified to know how quickly the replacement stopped working. I will not be purchasing another Fitbit, that's for sure.

Have returned 2 of these so far. It will NOT detect sleep properly, or SP02. I have tried sensitive sleep setting to no avail. I received only 1 detailed sleep report and that was on my first device that I returned due to it being flaky. Support phone call was useless. I guess this is the type of product you get with a bunch of DEI hires in San Fran.
Fitbit, prove me wrong! Fix your product!!

Hi @Grandma416 - surely you find it very upsetting at your husband's kindness turning out so poorly.
Hopefully you will another brand which does better.

Hi @ThrowingAFitNow - there can be an issue with HR detection if you have tattoos. Accurate HR and a good 3 hour sleep is necessary to get sleep measurements. Otherwise sleep measurements are normally one of the better features of the Fitbit.
