Sense 2 not charging

I have a brand new Sense 2. I charged it once initially with no problems, and am now trying to charge it for the second time. This is what is happening: https://youtube.com/shorts/mpdJ15lFaXs?feature=share

It's been plugged in for about 20 mins and has moved from 4% to 5%.

Would appreciate any advice!

Hi @Eleanorjn - good video - it seems to have a serious issue. Things to try.

  • try a different power source
  • hold the button for a few seconds while charging
  • hold the button for 10 seconds while charging
  • hold the button for 10 seconds while not charging, if enough residual power
  • if you can get to watch Settings while it's charging, do a Shutdown at the bottom. This will allow it to charge without annoying displays. After 2 hours press the button to start it again [while on charge or not]

You can chat reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support and if they confirm it is faulty get a refund from where you bought it.

Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy if bought direct from them or from an authorised shop perhaps, and some stores offer a 14 to 30 day one.

You then have the option to buy a Sense which is cheaper and has more features, unless there is something you want that's only on this watch, but the price may have dropped so you can save money.
