Sense 2 not holding a charge and syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am having several issues with my Fitbit Sense2.

It is not holding a charge at all and then it is not syncing to my app.

The most frustrating of all of this is that I have tried to access my account through Google and I find myself caught in an access loop. I need to log in to access help; but I am having trouble logging in and need help.

Any suggestions on what I can do?

Hello, @RLC99, welcome back to the Fitbit Community.

I appreciate you letting us know about this situation with the charging and syncing of your Sense 2, and also when trying to log into your Google account. I understand how you can feel, I'll do the best I can to help you.

Can you answer the following, please?

- Are the green LED lights on the back of the Sense 2 on?
- When was the last time you charged it?
- How long did you charge it for?
- If you haven't charged your Fitbit recently, please try charging it for 2 hours.
- Does it vibrate when you plug your Sense 2 into the charging cable?
- Have you tried restarting your Sense 2 by following the steps in our support article, "How do I restart my Fitbit device?"
- Have you tried following the steps in our support article, "Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?"

In regards to your Google logging, I recommend you to contact gmail support if you have not tried using a different password or resetting it.

Hi! I'm having the same issues as the OP. My Sense 2 doesn't hold a charge for more than 12 hours. It doesn't sync to my phone in the morning after it dies overnight. The only time it did, I was not wearing it overnight. The green light on the back is on when it is fully charged and on throughout most of the day but not always. I have tried unpairing it to my phone and had a hard time re-pairing it but managed to get it paid again. I have reset it. I have changed the watch face apps. I have cleaned the back area where the charging pins latch on. The green light only works during the day, though I did check it before I went to sleep last night and it was on. However, overnight the logo randomly started flashing bright enough that it woke me up. By this morning, it is dead. Again.  This is the 3rd time it's happened and the 3rd time I have  left it charging for more than 2 hours. I have also restarted my phone twice since the most recent Pixel update. I've also checked for updates on the Sense 2 and there is not. At this point, I'm starting to think it is the Google update on my phone that is causing the problem. My husband just got his Sense 2 to replace his Sense watch but he has an Apple iPhone. I cannot compare what is happening with my Sense 2 and his.

What is the problem and do I need to just bite the bullet and get a new one? Will it be worth it if the same thing happens with the new one that is currently happening to my current one? I really don't want to purchase a new one if I don't have to.
