In 3 weeks, this thing has never tracked an entire night of sleep. Now it won't even update it's software, and I went through all the troubleshooting steps. Beware of Amazon sales.

Hi @n1ethan Amazon sales are fine. It's making sure a person purchases a Fitbit sold and shipped by Amazon and not a third party retailer.

@n1ethan It will only update its software when a new update has been released for it to you. Fitbit has been rolling out updates slowly. a previous update this year was pulled before I had the option to apply it. I know people who wait until an update has been available for at least 6 months to avoid major issues. I'm often one of them. However, for the newest update, I had time to work on issues and was starting to have some issues that I hoped the update might resolve.
As for the sleep function, there are a number of factors that could be at issue. The Sense and Sense 2 have done a better job than my previous device. However, it still misses some of my sleep time due in part to how it fits my wrist and some health issues. Most times editing the start and / or end time will get me the data. The few times it has completely missed it, I add it manually. You can use the phone app to begin and end the sleep function. I have found that it only works if sleep wasn't detected. It might work for you. at least you would have some data when no sleep was detected.
Have a Terrific day!

Have you tried resetting the watch and reinstalling the app?
