Receiving Sleep Stages/Score can really be a struggle. A lot of people just slap their Fitbit on their wrist and it works without an issue. For me the Fitbit Sense 2 is the first one that gives me almost a full week of Sleep Stages, the old Sense did not.
My 'two cents'; I'm using the original wristband (S), two fingers from my wrist bone and always using the same hole for the buckle pin (if this makes sense).
At the same time I apply a skin ointment every morning on my wrist to make sure that my skin isn't too dry.
I ordered a Fitbit sport band last week and guess what, no sleepscore. I now compared both bands to find the same length for the new band. I've marked the holes to make sure that the tightness is the same. And the last two days I'm receiving Sleep Stages again.
If it doesn't work 'out of the box' it means experimenting...
