Sense 2 not tracking sleep

Has anyone else had issues with their sense 2 not tracking their sleep.  Many nights I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and it will then only track my sleep from that point on but not the first few hours of my sleeping.  Some nights I’ve gotten no sleep tracking.  My band is tighter and the sensitivity is normal and it’s 2 fingers away from my wrist band so I’ve tried what Fitbit suggests.  Could I have a lemon?

Thank you for sharing the details about this situation with your Sense 2.

Please keep in mind that there are some factors that may prevent your tracker from recording your sleep. Please make sure of the following:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device as described in this help article.
  • If you slept for less than 1 hour for sleep patterns or less than 3 hours for sleep stages.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you haven't done so already, please try to complete a restart procedure following the steps listed here.

In addition, please wear your device on your non-dominant hand and monitor it for the next few days.

I would also like to suggest to you take a look if there is some app update pending.
