I’m absolutely confused as to what’s happening with the battery here. During first use the watch lasted about 2-3 days (half the time I was trying the always on display and playing around with it so this makes sense)
The next cycle I fully charged to 100% again but this time turned always on feature off. For the first 20 hours (including sleep) it used up around 7%, the next 8 hours or so was close to 10%, yet during the night before going to sleep it was at about 83% and with sleepmode on, when I woke up 8 hours later the battery went down to 47%. Another 3 hours later its now at 36%.
I’m haven’t exercised at all with it yet, so no gps use or excessive notifications either. I am absolutely confused as to what is going on. It seems if I do exercise it won’t even last the day. My 3+ year old Versa 1 lasts 2 full days with exercise. My friends Versa 3 lasts 6 days. How is the sense 2 so terrible (among many other lacking features which I won’t get into now). I don’t buy Spo2 being the reason because the first night it used up 2% battery..
Battery was a huge plus for me.
This is just a flashier looking “non-smart” watch with some pointless features, no third party support or google assistant yet at a premium price? If so may as well pay a little more and stay within the apple ecosystem for a proper smartwatch or garmin for fitness. To top it off there doesn’t seem to be any explanation from them.
Seems fitbit is a lost cause? Hoping anybody give me a reason not to return this and leave Fitbit for good..

Hi @TriggerB - on the Sense 2 there is a smaller battery than the Versa 3, but this is offset by an improved SpO2 tracking.
At night when the watch display is not being used [if you set a sleep schedule] the Sense 2 will use less battery than during the day. It should therefore use about 16% battery spread unevenly over night and day, to get 6+ days.
Anything outside these parameters is inexplicable under the conditions you specify, with the exception that it depends where and when you read the battery level, pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings to see actual battery level.
If you are unhappy with the watch in anyway and are still in the window Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy if bought direct from them or from an authorised shop perhaps, and some stores offer a 14 to 30 day one.
It gives you the freedom to choose a watch brand with the features that better fit your needs, and you should probably aim for a 8-10 day battery life available nowadays.

I did this and at first I got the roughly 16% per day. Now it’s doing the same thing again as what TriggerB stated. So there’s something else going on. I got my Sense 2 at Christmas, so I’m past the point of returning it, unfortunately. I like it, so would prefer to just get it fixed or replace it.
