My watch was working fine until the most recent update. Now it reboots randomly and I notice it mosly at night when I am sleeping, I will suddenly be woken up by the bright screen turning on. There is no consistency to the rebooting, sometimes it will be multiple times per night, sometimes not at all. I am wondering what steps I should take - I tried restarting the watch manually and that did not help. This will be my last fitbit, such a garbage product!

Hi there, @Babsington.
Thanks for sharing this information and trying to troubleshoot your watch prior to posting. I'm sorry that you're going through this experience. To work on this together, may I know if your watch was updated correctly? If not, did you see an error message on the Fitbit app?
In the meantime, I'd recommend the following steps:

I have been experiencing the same thing since the update. My FitFace clockface kept randomly going back to the generic FitFace clockface and I thought it was a FitFace issue but this morning I looked down and realized my Fitbit was rebooting and after it finished, the FitFace clockface had reverted. Not happy at all. This has been happening for about a month now so I'm guessing it started after the last firmware update.

Concerning the above issue, I'm having the same thing happen. I have executed your recommended steps two times, but it keeps happening anyway. There is a problem with the firmware update. I have deleted the Sense 2 from Bluetooth and the Fitbit app, closed the Fitbit app, rebooted my phone, and started the process of adding the Sense 2 to the Fitbit app and pairing it again to Bluetooth. There is no firmware update, and I'm not asked to proceed with one because my Fitbit currently has the latest firmware. It still reboots randomly, at least every day and sometimes multiple times per day. I've been wearing Fitbits of one kind or another for YEARS and YEARS. I'm a loyal follower of Fitbit, and I've never experienced an issue like this before. I am so very unhappy about this, and I hope you're trying to figure out what you did wrong and fix it.

Hi there, @taz4352.
Thanks for sharing these details and the steps that you've tried on your own. I'm sorry you're having this experience with your Sense 2, and let's work on this together. I understand that you've tried some steps, but could you try restarting your watch to refresh its performance? Once that's done, try changing the clock face to one from Fitbit and if it works, change it back to the one you preferred.

Lizzie, I’ve tried everything. I have done several factory resets and have also shutdown my Fitbit. I have changed my clock face to a non-Fitface clock face and when I do that it stays in place. When I reinstall the Fitface clock face after a factory reset or a shutdown and choose a design I’ve purchased, it still reverts back to the generic Fitface clock face several times per day. I removed my Sense 2 from the app and then added a different Sense 2 that I had which had an older firmware version and I’ve had none of the problems I was experiencing with the updated Fitbit Sense 2. My Fitbit doesn’t randomly reboot, it doesn’t detect a spinning exercise when I’m brushing my teeth and when I choose a Fitface clock face design, it stays until I change it. I really think there are bugs in the firmware. I was a computer programmer for many years before I retired and I’m pretty good at determining these things ( just saying …)

I got a new Sense 2 in July. After a few weeks it no longer would put the SpO2 clock face on it. I tried resetting repeatedly. Finally just gave up. However, in the last few weeks it is now doing the random reboot that you mention. It is really annoying when it does it during my workout. I don't think it has done it at night because I am still getting my sleep score. I agree that there is a problem with the program. I am switching to a Garmin Forerunner 955. 😞
