Sad to hear that your Sense 2 isn't working as expected. Please try installing a different clock face to see if that will correct your issue. To do so, please follow the instructions provided here:

It worked!!!!!  Now I want to go back to the original face. I liked it better. Does it have a name so I can find it?

Charge 5's default clock face is called "Continuum".

 Apparently ~ selecting a new watch face DOES NOT work ~ tried this several times To NO Avail..... extremely disappointed ~ this is NOT a cheap / inexpensive device

Maybe you have somehow a different problem. Mine was stuck on the weather app and changing the watch face in the cell phone app worked! I can now see the time! The second screen is just the Fitbit diamond symbol. I have to figure out how to select the other features like weather again, sleep, steps. - in other words back to all the original  faces..
