Sense 2 screen shows big red X

just got the sense 2 3 days ago its dead i put it on the charger nothing this is my 3rd day wearing it I fully charged it last night this afternoon i tapped the screen to wake it up nothing click the button on the side nothing when I looked at the app its asking if I want to pair a device.  get home put it on the charger nothing the dots in the back nothing. followed the steps to reset held the button for 10 seconds the fitbit logo appear screen goes blue the a BIG RED X what the H-LL

Hi @Lheather, sorry to hear that.

 

Have you got a spare charging cable you could try (Sense 1 and Versa 3 use the same cable) to rule out an issue with your charging cable. If not I would recommend checking the pins on the end of the cable to make sure they are all able to spring freely and none are getting stuck down.

 

Other than that your next option would probably be to contact customer support (here).

I went ahead to check your details and it seems you already have a case created with our Support team. I'm sure they'll continue helping you, so please keep an open communication with them.

Had this issue as well, sense 2 flashed bright pale green a few times then large red x.  Also had an oddity with sense 2 not keeping good time, ended up returning. Did get sense 2 to charge eventually, would connect it, see the flashing and red x,,, then wait a few min, disconnect/reconnect magnetic cable again, usually be the third or fourth attempt at most it would then charge.  Not an ideal solution obviously but something to try, also seemed less likey to red x if having a higher battery percentage when attaching.  Did not have it long, probably less than 10 charge efforts before returning.  Odd time issue, odd charge issue,,, that was enough messing around.

I have a brand new sense 2 that won’t charge out of the box. I tried so many USB ports. But nothing works. These chargers seem to be faulty from the factory.
