Sense 2 screen not responding

I did try to hard reset by pressing the side button until the logo appeared. But the logo is flashing a few times then change to a red :cross_mark: and turn off. Also the sensor light in the back is not lit.

Welcome to the community, @Meang.

Thanks for letting us know about your Sense 2 and the steps that you've tried. I'm sorry for this experience and even though the light on the back isn't turned on, may I know if you feel a vibration when pressing the button?

In the meantime, I'd recommend trying these other steps to see how your watch behaves:

  1. Restart your Sense 2 one more time to refresh its performance.
  2. Change the clock face to a different one developed by Fitbit.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.

Did this happen after you tried to install and update the overheating fix?  I am having the same issue. Watch has not worked for 3 days.

Hi there, @Pamfootsteps@Bobbiepat Welcome to the community.

@Pamfootsteps It seems you have a Sense and not a Sense 2. I'd recommend trying the troubleshooting steps described here to get the firmware update installed on your watch. If by any chance the issue persists, I encourage you to share your concern in the Sense board to prevent any confusion and so you can receive help from other members.

@Bobbiepat I'm sorry for this experience and thanks for your efforts while working on this matter. I understand yours isn't syncing, but since this thread is related to the screen not responding, may I know if your Sense 2 is having the same behavior? Or is the issue just with the screen showing the wrong time due to the syncing issues?

If the latter, please exhaust these troubleshooting steps which have worked for other members and monitor its behavior in the next few days.

I just wrote a different post but having the same issue as OP.  My screen is not going on at all even after a hard reset and I'm getting the flashing green/black screen then big red X mark.

Was there an update recently? I also noticed when this started a few days (maybe a week ago), my battery has also been draining extremely fast (like 100% at bedtime to 60% by the time I wake up)

Hi there, @Stripes924.

Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your experience with your Sense 2. Before anything else, I'd like to explain that our team released a new update just for the Sense and Versa 3 devices. However, the rest of our Fitbit devices should continue working without any inconvenience.

In your case, because your watch seems to be defective, I checked with our Support team and I was told that you already have a case created. I'd recommend keeping an open communication with them in order to receive further assistance.
