Sense 2 stopped working

My Sense 2 stopped syncing a few days ago. I tried all suggestions but finally did a factory reset. It now won't do anything. I have the screen telling me to download the app, which I obviously have but can't move on. I've tried holding the button until the fitbit logo shows but it just goes back to the download app message. I've no idea what to do next. It's a fairly new watch, just 9 months old

Exact same situation... I contacted Chat support and they said it's an issue with the app.... nothing they can do until they figure it out. Ugh... wish I won't have tried to do the reset. I don't know how long we are going to have to wait for an update...but it's now been over 24 hours.

Same issue with my fitbit sense. I did try everything won't paired etc, what's happening with fitbit 😑

Hi @Elsie13 @BamThud @Arparp. Welcome to the community forums. 

Thank you for providing the details regarding this difficulty with Sense 2. 

Please, try to perform the following steps in the order listed to set up the device again:

  • Unpair your Sense 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Sense 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Sense 2.
  • Once your Sense 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Sense 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Hello

My sense also stopped tried all of the above suggestions but i did do a factory reset as I got a red x when holding the button down for the logo. It shows 9n my phones Bluetooth but won't connect

I've tried all of that, still not working. I've connected via live chat and been told there's a problem with the app and to try everything  againin a few days. Not happy!

I wish I'd not reset as well. At least I could use it as a watch before, now nothing!

It's definitely the app I tried to connect my old charge 4, same problem. What a monumental waste of money. I'm going to try logging on with fitbit not Google last thing to try if possible

I've just spoken to them and the updated version 4.28.1 is due to be released on Monday.... hopefully! I've done a factory reset and I can't even get the clock  😒

Got an app update this morning...  4.28.1 still experiencing the same problem. I've tried the trouble shooting steps again... but it still won't connect to the app and the watch is stuck on the download the app screen...ugh

I can't try any of those because none of the buttons are working on my watch. I can't shut it down. I can't restart it , nothing is working.

Having the same issue. Fitbit not syncing and when I workout, the watch just starts flashing the fitbit logo on the homescreen (this happens when it's fully charged).

Going by the forums it is all models of fit bit. Loads have people have contacted and it seems it is an issue with android phones and the fit bit app. Seems to have been going on since last Wednesday and no fix. It's shocking that it has still not been resolved

On one of the other fit bit model forums I see a couple of people have said app will be updated today and they have tried since it was allegedly updated and stillno joy getting ridiculous now

Hi TZ, I'm also having issues with my watch. The button on the side isn't working and the watch turns off if it's not moved. Fitbit icon comes up then a red x. Very frustrating!
