Hi,
I had this Fitbit watch for almost 2 years. I used it often. It was a nice watch. Only problem is I didn't use it for past couple of months as I watched using my Amazefit.
When I tried to boot it up after recharging for 5 hours, it kept on showing Fitbit logo and going blank. I kept side button pressed for sometime (for almost 20 seconds), it flashed Fitbit logo alternatively and then shown a big red cross on screen. I was disappointed and frustrated after trying it multiple times but didn't work.
I saw on another post around a possible solution. Luckily it worked for me. Please follow following steps, itay work for you.
1. Press side button until you see screen flashing alternatively with Fitbit logo on dark screen and light blue screen.
2 as soon as you see screen flashing as in step 1, release and hold side button again till you see Fitbit logo in a circle on your screen. Release side button at this point.
3. This will factory reset your watch.
4. Pair with Fitbit app on your phone by entering code on your watch.
5. You can get software updated and your watch should function as expected.
