Unable to set up my Sense 2 with iPhone 16e

HI All

I have had my sense 2 for 18 months.  I recently got a new iophone 16e and I am unable to connect my Fitbit to it.  I have ensured the device is no longer attached to my old phone and I have rebooted both the fitbit and my iphone several times.  The Fitbit is has been reset and is looking to sync to the app.  When I run through adding the device on my new phone I get as far as entering the 4 digit number that appears on my Fitbit then it moves to the next screen where I get a "Something went wrong" error.  My fitbit just stays on the "connecting" screen.

Has anyone had this issue and can offer some much appreciated advice on how to resolve this issue?

@CazzaMcG   Can you please clarify something?  Did you simply remove your Fitbit from the Bluetooth device list on your old phone or did you remove it from your account?  If all you did is remove it from the old phone Bluetooth list, then it is still on your account.  When you tap on your device/battery icon (upper left), is it still on your account?

Hi LZeeW

Thanks for your reply.  I removed it from the app on my old mobile and also removed it from the bluetooth device list.  When I look at my old account I see a phone and fitbit symbol.

I have now tried to connect my fitbit back to my old iphone and I am getting the same experience.  So the fitbit won't attach to old or new phone app.
