Sense 2 stuck on 4 digit code

My Sense 2 just started showing 4 digit codes over and over again.   I have reset the watch and reset the app and still getting the 4 digit codes.   Does anyone know why?

Hi there, @Junior329. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Sense 2 before reaching out.

It seems like your Sense 2 is trying to be paired again to your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings. In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Sense 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Sense 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Sense 2.
  • Once your Sense 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

Thanks. I did that to no avail. It is not a pairing number as when I went to re-pair the four numbers were in different font.

@Junior329 Thanks for those details. To better assist you, would you mind attaching an image showing what you're getting on your Sense 2?

In order to add a photo to your reply please:

  • When you're in the reply page, click on the Insert Photos icon (the little camera).
  • Then, click on the Choose File in the middle of the grey window that will pop up.
  • Search for the photo on your computer or phone and click on Open.
  • Once the image shows up in the grey windows, select the size and the position and click on Done.

@Junior329 Thanks for the image attached.

To me it looks like your Sense 2 is on always-on display mode. To exit the always-on display and interact with your watch, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?
