Sense 2 stuck on Fitbit logo and a red X

I've been using the sense 2 watch for some time now, it was working fine until yesterday when I tried to sync the watch, the screen started to display logo and blink, then a big red X showed and the screen went completely dark, I tried to restart the watch/resync with phone etc but nothing worked, am really frustrated about this, need help with this issue!

I am experiencing the same issue @FloraFF  😞 I contacted their customer support through chat and they had me reset it however it didn't work, so they are trying to give me a 35% discount to buy a new one LOL I also posted in this forum today asking for another solution. Mine is 15 months old only. I hope they see your message too and take it seriously, these devices are not cheap and shouldn't be disposable like this.

Hi @FloraFF @exonaelexa - it may be possible to get it working when you have a red X but not always.

Try the following.

  • Remove the Bluetooth entries for your watch from your phone
  • Turn off Bluetooth
  • Remove the watch from your account on the device / account page in the Fitbit App
  • Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it, then restart the phone.
  • Restart the watch by holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for it to start.
  • Turn on Bluetooth
  • In the device / account page in the Fitbit App setup the watch.

It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks or apps and any special watch or app settings you use before starting.

You may also need to factory reset the watch using the button before doing the process if it doesn't work and you can chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support for help with that.
