Sense 2 undercounting floors

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My new sense 2 is counting floors, but far fewer than I'm actually doing. I've gone up and down the stairs at least 7 times already this morning, and it's only showing 1 floor climbed.

Any advice on getting it to be more accurate is greatly appreciated.

Hello @BamBamT and welcome to the Community.  Fitbits use a relative altimeter that senses a very small drop in barometric pressure as you as you go up stairs or a hill.  From experience, you need to go up stairs in a smooth movement and don't use the handrail with your Fitbit wrist.

My first Fitbit was a torso worn One and it was always spot on with my floors.  I have experience with several wrist models and they all seem to count a floor about 60% of the time and I don't hold the handrail.
