I just got a Sense 2. So far, it's a nice device, but I noticed the heart rate is very inaccurate, showing a rate that's much higher when sitting and lower when exercising. My past devices, Alta HR and Inspire 2, have both shown a fairly accurate heart rate during all activities. However, this Sense 2 seems to put me between 80 to 90 when sitting, when a monitor reports 72. Right now, I'm sitting here typing this and my HR is showing 107. An actual heart rate monitor is placing me at 68.
Is this normal for a new Sense 2? Does it take a while to calibrate? Is there anything I can do to make it more accurate? (Yes, it's on my wrist in the correct place and it's appropriately snug.) Is this a common problem?
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hi @bparker. Welcome back to the community forums.
Thank you for providing all these details regarding this difficulty with your Sense 2.
Before considering other options, I'd suggest you restart the device, as the restart fixes many inconveniences on the trackers and smartwatches.
