Sense 2 won't charge past 98%

Why don't your new watches fully charge? I just got the Sense 2 today cause my Versa 3 decided to die last week. I got it to charge than the logo flashed. I used it for like 2 years without an issue so I can't complain. I put my new watch Sense 2 on the charge and it will not move past 98% is this normal? Other than that seems like a pretty nice watch. Funny how Google uses Alexa. I don't need a voice assistant on my watch. Still, the irony is funny.

Hi @Randalllind - it does seem strange to not charge more than 98%, but how long did you leave it.

Charging goes much slower after 95% and it can take upto 20 minutes or more to go from 99 to 100%, this is because the charge current is reduced and by then iIt is just trickle charging.

If you have a clock face that is using a lot of battery it can take longer.

Try restarting the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for the watch to start, then try fully charging or even changing to the default face.

I had it charging for 45mins. My watch came 48% charge. During that 45 mins or so I was also setting it up.

@Randalllind  - that seems slow. It should charge at about 2% per minute in its early stages. 

If you are seeing the battery level in the app and not the watch there can be a delay in what you see as it shows the value when it last synced.

The 98% was on the watch. The app says full. It really is no big deal. Right now it is at 95%.Update: I decided to charge it again and got 100%. I guess I am a little scared of it not working because of what happened to my versa 3. 🙂 Thanks for the help Guy_
