Sense 2 won’t let me install Spotify

Can anyone help. Just got a sense 2 (previously had a versa 2) and added new device, synced etc etc BUT I’m unable to instal Spotify. When I go to 3rd party apps and find Spotify, it says “install” but the button is greyed out. I’ve check software is up to date, removed sense 2 about 3 times and re installed it, rebooted phone and deleted and re installed Fitbit app but still the same. Watch is pretty pointless if I can’t control my music on it, which seems stupid for an apparently better watch.

all in all I actually don’t like this watch, apps are all over the place and it’s pretty confusing.

if someone can help on the Spotify issue I’d really appreciate it - thanks all

This is what is promised to me:

"Rest assured since, once

this feature has been added again, you will be the first one to be

update on it."

We will see 😉

@Nandor that doesn't say that the feature will be added. It's just clever way to say "in case it's added they will knock to your door to let you know first" 😄

I'm aware of it 😉 A judge's hammer is also knocking with a good voice in movies:)

I finally got a notification. And Spotify is now available under the Fitbit app notification. But unfortunately it doesn’t do anything when I’m playing music 😓

@iivett - are you using an iPhone? Then you probably can't use it.

Sorry should have mentioned it sooner.

I am really frustrated that Fitbit, or Google rather, got rid of supporting 3rd party apps like Spotify. I chatted with Support prior to purchasing my Sense 2 that it was still available and the person assured me I would be able to (had screenshot too just in case.) It was incorrect information obviously. I chatted with support again today to see if there was any plans to listen to the customers and add it back, but the rep said they have no information that this would be happening. I would have gone with the Apple Watch if I had known, but the Sense 2 has features Apple doesn’t, so it’s tough. Wish there was 1 smart/health watch that had it all.

So I just paid $400 for a smart watch that has no apps and I had better trackers ect on my sports watch.

Hi @Lonely2day - if you just got your watch and if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

You can get full music support and most features and long battery life with a Garmin Venu 2 Plus.
