Sense 2 won't receive text notifications

I can't get the sense 2 to send or recieve text messages or send calls - some how recieved calls. This feature was available on the first Sense watch.

This is obviously false advertsing. The internet is full of complaints - suggesting that the watch has been nerfed for the pixel watch.

So - has anyone actually got all the features as promised, and advertised, before I report fitbit for false advertising? It appears to me no one has, ever.

Welcome to the Community, @GHopant.

I've moved your post to the Sense 2 board so we can keep the forums organized. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and I'm sorry for this inconvenience experienced with your watch. In regards to the notifications, have you made sure the Sleep Mode or DND aren't turn on? I'm asking this as if those settings are enabled, your watch won't be able to receive any type of alert or notification.

I'd recommend trying the following steps to reconnect your watch:

  1. Forget your Sense 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. Check if the Fitbit app is updated on your phone.
  4. Restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  6. Leave the Fitbit app running in the background and try receiving a text message or phone call to test your watch.

About your other question, let me clarify that it's not possible to initiate calls from the Sense 2. However, if you're referring to the on-wrist calls which allows you to take calls from your watch, I'd recommend checking this help article which describes some troubleshooting steps.
