Welcome to the Community, @EveDW.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. While this is odd, have you made sure there is a proper connection between your Sense 2 and the charging cable? If you haven't done so, let me recommend cleaning the contacts on your charging cable and watch with the steps described here. Once that is done, try restarting your watch to refresh its performance and monitor its behavior.

I have the same issue too, and when i detach and attach back the charging device, the battery percentage indicates atleast 5 to 10% more, the battery readings seems going crazy.

This problem was also on the Sense 1. It's related to either....

1) not plugging the charger into a charging brick (low amperage)

OR

2) the watch is not flat on a table while charging

@Joanna07 and @Sunnyf50 Welcome to the Community. @FloppyDrive Thanks for sharing your insights.

@Joanna07 Thanks for letting me know about your Sense 2. I went ahead to check your details and it seems you already have a case created with our Support team. Please keep an open communication with them, I'm sure they'll continue helping you with this matter.

@Sunnyf50 I'm sorry this is happening to your new watch. Because your posts didn't mention, may I know if you made sure there is a proper connection when plugging your watch to the charging cable? If that's correct but the issue persists, please give a try to the rest of the steps described in this help article and monitor its behavior in the next few days.

Hi, yes i have made sure it was connected properly. This is a brand new product. I purchased it today and opened it and this happened. This has caused me so much stress. The watch was purchased to reduce stress. I will be returning for a full refund and NEVER buying Fitbit again. Deleting App now. Terrible

Could it be that many Sense 2 came with faulty charging cables? I got my Sense 2 yesterday. I tried charging it for the first time today, it didn't work. It flashed fitbit logo several times and showed a big red x in the end. When I plugged the charger that came with my Sense 1 the watch showed it was charging. But when plugged with the charger that came with the brand new Sense 2 it wouldn't charge. I wonder if the bad charger ended up jinxing the watch itself.

Hi,  there are several reasons for the vibrations, maybe it is experiencing slow or poor charging and changing power source can help, or simply go into watch Settings, scroll to the bottom and shutdown, this should stop the vibrations, allowing upto 90 minutes to charge should be sufficient.

A poorly cleaned watch or faulty charge cable can also cause problems.

Receiving notifications will also cause vibrations while on.charge and a pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and turn on do not disturb will stop them while charging, but remember to turn it off after.

How is this odd, LizzyFitbit? It seems like your normal. Find good solutions for this and stop saying clean your charger from dust and debris 😒

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members. @Guy_ Thanks for always sharing your help!

Thanks for joining this thread and letting me know about your Sense 2. Let me clarify the steps shared in this thread were suggested to make sure the possible troubleshooting was exhausted. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this caused and I appreciate your feedback as it'll help us to continue improving.

@Prasen_m@thed4rkestrose and @Malmaa Because your post didn't mention, may I know if your watch displays an error message when vibrating? Do you see any damage on your charging cable or the gold contacts?

Additionally and just if you haven't done so, restart your watch, make sure the contacts of your watch are aligned to the charging cable, and try charging it one more time to see how it responds.

I think we all instantly tried restarting our watches and checking the contacts with the wire, I did that without even googling. No error comes up, just the now charging screen. My watch was new this month nothing is broken, though the only way I've found to stop it is use an apple plug, where as before I was using a Samsung plug
