Once again my Fitbit Sense 2 wouldn't sync with my app so had to reset and lost my 5 mile hike for today...happening more and more so looks like I'll find a different smart watch that works (only had this one for 6 months)

Thanks for getting back to us @pigpened. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense 2 wouldn't sync with your app and that you lost a 5 mile hike.
I understand how frustrating this could be and would recommend turning your phone's Bluetooth and then turning it back on.

Thanks for getting back to us and for letting me know about the troubleshooting steps you have followed in multiple times @pigpened.
Could you please confirm that you have followed the advised steps from help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?? Also, could you mention how often this happens to you?

Exact same problem here with iPhone. I have done the restart, forget, re-pair dance well over 100 times in the first week I have had the device. I have had 4 or 5 differnt Fitbits and I would say 3 of them have had this issue to start. Two of them were fixed relatively shortly with a firmware update. One I believe, the Charge 2, eventually locked up to where it could not be restarted or charged any longer. This is a firmware issue. The reset-restart shuffle is a bandaid that lasts for me no more than a few hours. The last two times it paired and then lost the pairing so quickly that it didn't even complete a sync, and I haven't been able to get it to pair at all even with the song and dance.
I seriously doubt it is environment as have been suggested in other posts. I have several bluetooth devices; speakers, earbuds, keyboards, computer mice. None them have remotely the same issue.

A couple of weeks ago I bought 2x sense 2, one for me, one for my wife. Mine has been working great since the start, syncs every time in as many phones as I've tried without any issues.
The 2nd watch has had issues since the first setup. After several attempts on the first setup the firmware update finally completed. Once setup completes (watch added to the account) the sync stops almost immediately (or won't ever complete, or only happens partially.) I have factory reset and gone through the whole process several times, almost same result every time (some times when the setup completes it shows firmware 60.3001.153.50 on the app and firmware 60.20001.184.52 on the watch); it seems like the sync works some times for a bit and then no more. I've done it using several phones, same overall result with some minor variations. I've also found out that after some of the factory resets when I restart the watch (10 second button press), the time gets reset to 6:00pm @ Fri Dec 31.
It is evident that something is going on as I have 2 identical sense 2 side by side using the same fitbit app and the same phones.

I have followed all the steps turning off Bluetooth pressing the button until the logo came on, etc. etc. etc. I have lost 21,000 steps today due to this issue. I am not happy about that. It goes against my fitness goals and goals have set for myself to have a day that says zero steps, please fix it it’s getting to the point what’s worth it if this issue is reoccurring

Hi @Rmbraziel , @Rmbraziel - firstly syncing can be an issue if you have multiple devices, tablets and phones.
Remove the watch from the Bluetooth of any other devices AND the phone you are using.
Try Logout of the Fitbit App on ALL devices and on the primary phone swipe off the active Fitbit window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
Press and hold the watch button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
Login to the Fitbit App and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.
If the sync doesn't work, click profile photo and "+ Set up a Device" and replace, this will remake the Bluetooth connection if the login didn't, then sync.
