I have a Sense 2. I have been using Fitbit for over 10 years and have used 5-6 models.
Today I walked over 6000 steps. My target is 5000 steps. What is WEIRD is that below the number of steps, it reads (in small font) "153,718 left" What does it mean? What is left?
I must also say that I walk the exact same route almost every day and I have step readings that vary sometimes by as much as 15%. Up to 5% is tolerable. 15% is not.
What I have seen is that as each model gets more sophisticated, its performance on the basic functions (e.g. sleep monitoring and step counting) gets worse. Spare us the ECGs. Just get the streps right.

@FitbitUser1112 - thanks, you can't get rid of it but you can change your step goal to something more reasonable than 160,000 for the day.
Mine is set to the default 10,000 and shows like this

Hi @FitbitUser1112 - in case there is an issue with the clock face display, try another one.
In any case try holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start.
As regards the steps for a walk, this can vary if you are using GPS and it stops measuring or if the watch gets into difficulty syncing.
It is always necessary to check the time of the walk is correct when comparing steps to ensure the entirety is measured.

Thanks very much for your response.
While I understand what you write about the steps for a walk and the GPS disconnect, I shall be most grateful if you could answer my first query.
It has nothing to do with the face of the watch. The face is fine. It is the tile which measures steps.
Currently, it is morning where I am, and the tile reads:
Steps
521
159, 482 left (in much smaller and lighter font)
and below that a blue shoe in a circle.
WHAT DOES "159, 482 left" MEAN AND HOW DO I GET RID OF IT? I have already Shut Down Fitbit Sense once but the "159, 482 left" does not disappear.
