Sense can’t hold time unless is syncing

My watch seems to loose 1-5 mins per day if not in contact with my phone or if the application is close so it can sync.

Support have told me this is to be expected and how their watches work, that my watch isn’t faulty. Just interested to know if this is to be expected or am I just being fobbed off.

Annoyed as it’s taken me 3 support chats to get to this, wasting my time with deleting the app, watch factory resets etc etc, for them to say it’s a “feature of the device” that it can’t hold time 🤦‍:male_sign:.

Hi @DanGay  - your watch is faulty.

Any digital watch should be able to keep time on its own to within a few seconds per day in order to perform as a basic watch.

Did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

Past that time it can be replaced under warranty where you bought it.

If direct from Fitbit contact them again and demand an immediate replacement.

For reference I sync my watch once per charge, about every 5-6 days, and the time is only off by a few seconds.
