After the latest firmware update yesterday, my Sense 2 got stuck on Sleen and DND mode and can't change. Tried turning off sleep mode, it says "locked for do not disturb". Tried turning off DND mode now it says "locked while in sleep mode". Went to 'settings/quiet modes" but DND and Sleep modes are blacked out and can't press them. Tried resetting the device several times, but didn't work. Frustrating... Any help without having to factory reset?
Thanks

Hi @Aquafrigida - others have this problem, things to try.
Sync the watch and restart it.
Sync the watch and do a Shutdown from the watch settings menu. Wait at least 10 seconds before restarting (place on charge or hold the button a few seconds)
Turn off phone Bluetooth and restart the watch.
After each attempt pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and turn off Sleep, (DND will always be locked if Sleep is on).
If you factory reset you may no longer be able to use the watch again. There is a bug in the new V4 Fitbit App which stops you setting it up again so best to find another solution.

Hi Aquafrigida,
Thanks for posting your issue. I have just downgraded from my Versa 2 to a Sense 2 and thought I have managed to bug the watch, since my "Sleep Mode" has activated via schedule, after I had set DND to ON during the day, and then I was not able to turn off either. I had to wait for my sleep schedule to trigger OFF the next morning, so I could turn off DND.
Thus, both were on, and I had the same issue you described, unable to disable either, and all menu settings were greyed or inaccessible. It seems like this is a SW bug. (Fitbit, I recommend FMEA for avoiding these tricky issues in development 😉
I appreciate, that there are others facing this issue and that there are some limited fixes available, however, this feature (issue) (DND and sleep mode ON at the same time) should not be possible to activate in the first place.
I look forward to a patch of this, however, seeing that this feature has been around since 2021 in prior products, I do not hold high hopes.

Tried everything but to no avail. Finally I factory reset it, and it solved the problem.

I am having the same issue with mine currently.
My Fitbit is locked in sleep mode - It will not come out of it. The quiet modes in settings are unselectable and the quick settings will not take my fitbit out of sleep mode either. I have restarted and done the other troubleshooting as directed online to no avail. It is super frustrating and I too am hoping for a fix soon!

Same issue. Going on a month with no fix from Fitbit. All those other smart watches look really appealing now.

I caved, contacted customer support. Did a factory reset with them and have been up and running fine since. It took all of 15 min from start to finish. It seems during an update it affected a few people -- and then from there updates werent downloaded when they were available because of the mode the watch was in.

My Sense 2 keeps being stuck on DND and sleep modes.
I cannot turn either one off and am not getting any notifications.
Restart doesn't fix the issue.
How do I get turn off DND and sleep modes?

@Texanne8 - if you can't get out of Sleep mode and a restart doesn't help, the only other solution is to do a factory reset.
Leave plenty of time for it to reset and then setup again, hopefully this will be possible but there have been instances where it is not possible in which case you can always chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support.

@Texanne8 I did a chat with fitbit and they worked me through a factory reset and setup again of my device. Since I did the reset it has been working perfectly. I highly suggest just taking the plunge and doing the reset on it while chatting with a team member. The idea of factory resetting any electronic is super annoying to me personally -- and i went like a year at least with my watch stuck like this but I am glad I finally just handled it. It wasn't the big deal I felt like it was going to be. I only had to add back the find my phone feature which was easy breezy.
